Maurice Hirsch expresses shock and passionate empathy with Christians around the world. He says that «smashing the Christ Statue shakes my inner Core».

Maurice Hirsch is an orthodox Jew, living close to where Jesus Christ was born just over 2000 years ago, and is the Director of the Initiative for Palestinian Authority Accountability and Reform in the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs (JCFA) as well as the former Director of the Military Prosecution for Judea & Samaria.
